If you plan to be on Oahu for the Easter holiday, the Star of Honolulu is offering a fun Easter event at an unbeatable value! Bring the whole family to enjoy beautiful coastline views while searching for Humpback whales, a delicious Taste of Hawaii lunch buffet, hands-on Hawaiian cultural activities, and even a fun Easter egg hunt and prize giveaways for kids!
Departing Aloha Tower Marketplace at 12 noon, the 1,500-passenger STAR will be the site of an exciting Easter egg hunt, before a scenic 2.5-hour cruise in search of whales and their newborn calves. Whale sightings are guaranteed; if whales are not spotted a free return cruise voucher is issued to try again. Plus cruise-goers can gain insight on Humpback whales from the trained Naturalist crew, new educational displays, narration and an interactive keiki (kids) program. As a bonus, they can also participate in interactive Hawaiian cultural activities including lei making, ukulele and hula lessons.
The Taste of Hawaii lunch buffet features Hawaiian black sea salt roast beef carved onboard, teriyaki chicken, lomilomi salmon, tofu poke, salads and dessert station, with special Easter upgrades of cake and “champagne” (non-alcoholic available for minors). As the STAR returns to the pier, kids will have the opportunity to win prizes such as chocolate bunnies, coloring books and Easter baskets.
The suggested retail price for adults is $63.00. With each paid adult, one child (age 3-11) is just $10.00.
